OneOneFour Productions Role: Strategic Production Leadership

The Challenge

Vevo wanted to flip the script on the traditional NewFront format. Instead of a standard, long corporate presentation, the goal was to create a high-impact, music-first experience: the "non-NewFront." This required a three-in-one transition—a high-stakes 15-minute presentation, a full-scale concert (Kane Brown), and an immersive DJ afterparty—all within a single NYC music venue.

The Capacity

NVE brought me in to serve as the Executive Production Lead for the program’s production ecosystem. My role was to provide the senior-level oversight necessary to manage a complex web of stakeholders, from Vevo’s internal executives to high-profile artist management. I was responsible for ensuring that the "non-NewFront" strategy was backed by an unbreakable technical and logistical plan.

The Work

I led the cross-functional teams responsible for the creative, technical and physical realization of the event, focusing on the seamless transition between corporate messaging and high-fidelity performance:

  • Orchestrating the Triple-Phase Transition: Directed the technical architecture required to pivot a venue from a media presentation into a full-scale concert and finally an afterparty, maintaining zero-margin continuity across three distinct technical setups.

  • Managing High-Profile Artist Requirements: Led the technical and logistical synchronization between the production crew and Kane Brown’s management, ensuring the venue’s infrastructure met the artist’s specific touring standards.

  • Operationalizing NYC Venue Constraints: Navigated the complex labor of both union and non-union regulations of a classic NYC music venue, engineering a production schedule that protected the budget while meeting a high-density load-in and execution timeline.

  • Directing Strategic Signage & Content Integration: Oversaw the ingestion and organization of all show content to ensure a seamless ROS for the quick yet impactful presentation.

The Result

We had over 700 ppl show up for the "non-NewFront", which was a definitive success, accomplishing Vevo’s goal of standing out in a crowded media market. By identifying and resolving technical friction points during the pre-production phase, we ensured a flawless execution that delighted advertisers and partners. The result was a night that prioritized Vevo’s core identity—music—while successfully delivering their business message in a record-breaking 15 minutes.
